Joseph Adams is an American/Canadian tenor whose performance career spans opera, concert, choral, and crossover repertoire throughout Canada and abroad. His operatic work includes principal and supporting roles across bel canto, classical, operetta, and Gilbert & Sullivan repertoire, alongside appearances with professional companies and festival ensembles across Southern Ontario. In concert performance, he has appeared as an oratorio soloist with major Canadian orchestras in sacred and symphonic repertoire, while maintaining an active presence in professional chamber and recording ensembles. His collaborative credits include Opera York, Brott Opera, The Elora Singers, The Edison Singers, Video Games Live, and Jeans n’ Classics, reflecting a versatility that extends from traditional classical performance into commercial and contemporary productions. His recording credits include projects released through Naxos, and his international experience includes work with the Tokyo Opera Studio in Japan.
